The CEO of OKX, Star Xu, announced a reward of 10 $BTC for discovering a potential "backdoor" in the OKX Wallet. The announcement appeared on November 15, 2025, in response to a user's accusation claiming a theft of 50 $ETH from their wallet. "Anyone who provides compelling evidence of the existence of a backdoor will receive 10 BTC. Security and transparency are our foundation," Xu wrote on X (Twitter).

The initiative is aimed at engaging the global community of developers and researchers in code auditing. According to Chainalysis, in 2025, the volume of cryptocurrency thefts reached $2.2 billion, with 25% of attacks on personal wallets. OKX, which serves 60 million users, emphasizes transparency, similar to Binance's programs.

The company urges sending data through official channels: transactions, screenshots, wallet addresses. CoinSpeaker experts note that such a bounty program can accelerate the detection of vulnerabilities and enhance trust. "This is a rare step in the crypto industry that motivates the community," comments analyst Wu Blockchain.

Currently, no evidence has been found, but the initiative continues. Traders advise using two-factor authentication and avoiding phishing.
