🌐 Musk: AI will make money "meaningless," the future of work will become a hobby
At the US–Saudi forum, Elon Musk once again threw out a shocking view:
🧠 "AI and robotics will make money irrelevant."
Musk stated that beyond energy constraints (electricity & physical resources),
currency will ultimately lose its meaning.
He quoted science fiction writer Iain Banks' "Culture" series:
These works can help people imagine "what a positive AI future would look like."
🛠️ The end of work?
Musk further stated:
"Work will become optional, like sports or video games."
People will no longer work for income,
but for interest, just like "growing vegetables in the backyard just for fun."
In Musk's view, the endgame of AI is a currency-retreating, labor-optional "post-scarcity society."
