🚨 Vietnam proposes fines of 10–30 million if trading on unlicensed crypto exchanges

The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam is drafting a new decree on digital asset management. In which:

• Individual investors trading on unlicensed digital asset exchanges in Vietnam may be fined 10–30 million VND.

• Organizations providing services or advertising crypto exchanges without a license may be fined 180–200 million VND.

• The regulation is currently only in draft form and has not yet been implemented.

• This is a preparatory step for the legal framework of digital assets in the pilot program that the government is implementing.

👉 Notable point: Vietnam is gradually moving towards legalizing and tightly regulating the crypto market — investors need to stay updated on the list of licensed exchanges.
