WARNING: This is not financial advice. Do your own research. This guide focuses on USDT/USDC to minimize price risk.

Step 1: Set Up and Secure the Web3 Wallet

  1. Find the Wallet: In the Binance App, go to the "Wallets" tab and select "Web3".

  2. Create the Backup: CRUCIAL. You will be asked to make a backup of your recovery phrase. Write it down by hand and keep it OFFLINE (in a safe, not on your phone).

    • Important: If you lose your phrase, you lose your money. Binance cannot recover it.

  3. Connection: The Web3 Wallet is now connected to your Binance account, making transfers easier.

Step 2: Transfer Capital and Select Network

  1. Transfer: In your Web3 Wallet, click on "Receive". Select $USDT (or $USDC).

  2. From Spot to Web3: Choose the option to transfer from your Binance Spot Wallet.

  3. Network Selection: To start with low cost, choose the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) network. The fees (gas fees) are minimal (a few cents) compared to Ethereum.

    • Tip: You will need a little $BNB in your Web3 Wallet to pay for the gas of transactions (about $5 USD is enough for months).

Step 3: Choose a Low-Risk Strategy (dApp)

Once the $USDT is in your Web3 Wallet (on the BSC network), you should look for a decentralized application (dApp) to put it to work.

  1. Access dApps: Within the Web3 Wallet, go to the "Discover" or "Earn" section.

  2. Look for Audited Platforms: Large audited platforms like Venus (VAI) or PancakeSwap are good starting points.

  3. Stablecoin Pool: Look for options like "Stake USDT" or "Liquidity Pool USDT-USDC". These offer a lower APR (Annual Percentage Rate) (generally 3% to 8% variable) but are much more stable.

  4. Connect and Deposit:

    • Click on the dApp.

    • Click on "Connect Wallet".

    • Select the amount of $USDT you wish to deposit and confirm the transaction (you will pay the gas in $BNB).

Congratulations! Your money is now generating passive income directly on the blockchain, outside of the volatile trading of the stock market.
