Recently, a maliciously edited chat screenshot has circulated online, claiming 'accounts were banned by Binance for participating in the Alpha event by modifying local time and were required to repay'.
We have located the user account based on the description and confirmed that the message is completely false.
📌 Binance has never banned accounts for 'modifying local time on the phone', nor has there ever been a request for repayment due to this.
The left image is a screenshot forged by the user, and the right image is the real chat record provided when they contacted community staff on October 28.
