During the DeFi Summer, liquidity mining was truly revolutionary. The NFT wave, at least, made outsiders feel for the first time that blockchain is useful. And now? AI+Crypto has been called out for a year, RWA has been discussed for two years, and both are still in the conceptual stage.
What a real bull market needs is a killer application that traditional finance cannot ignore. It is not about relying on the Fed's liquidity, but about creating game rules that the entire world wants to participate in.
Seeing GAIB's introduction as AI infrastructure economy on-chain? Sounds very sexy, but essentially it is still wrapping traditional cloud computing into DeFi gameplay.
The concept of GPU asset tokenization is somewhat interesting, but the question is: are there really that many idle GPUs that need liquidity? Or is it just creating a nonexistent demand?
The design of AID, this synthetic dollar, is very typical; we have seen too many models of earning yields through staking. The key is where the yield comes from? If it relies solely on new users entering the market to maintain, then it is a Ponzi structure.
What confuses me the most is why AI computation needs blockchain? Traditional cloud services are already very mature; forcing it on-chain only adds complexity and gas fees. What actual value can it bring?
The market is indeed very receptive to the AI+Crypto concept now, but most projects are just riding the wave. What GAIB needs to prove is: what real existing problem it solves, rather than creating a financial tool that sounds cool.
