In the official homepage of Kindred, the purple-haired female character in the center of the image is Klara, the first soul character of Kindred. The small ant SATO on the left side is the key character for next month (12/2), and other characters are somewhat familiar.
Kindred aims to turn familiar cartoon and brand characters into AI partners. Not only will they chat, but they will also interact, grow, and even remember your personality, and AI characters can interact and influence each other. Moreover, companies or creators can connect their characters to the platform, granting them thinking and dialogue capabilities through Kindred's 'Agentic AI Protocol'.
The current operating model does not create a batch of characters by itself, but transforms familiar characters through legal authorization into Kindred's AI characters, using existing recognition and emotions to create intersections with people, thus allowing new possibilities brought to life by technology. Therefore, it has a good chance of expanding from Web3 to reach more people.
Confirmed characters number over 20, and Kindred's CEO Max has also posted on social media that more different characters are still being engaged.
