This bear market is really tough.
Watching the numbers in my account continuously shrink, every sleepless night staring at the screen feels exceptionally long. I once thought Binance's Alpha project could bring us a glimmer of hope, but it's been hard to achieve significant returns in the overall declining market for more than a month now.
The emergence of this cycle$HYPE , $ASTER has shown us the direction of market capital flow. While most people are still caught up in traditional DeFi, smart money has long since shifted to more narrative-driven tracks. At the same time, Bitcoin has independently surged under ETF expectations, once again confirming the market rule of 'leaders moving first.'
I gradually understood a cruel truth: in a bear market, rather than obsessing over fighting in the secondary market, it's better to change our mindset. Recently, I have shifted my focus to interacting with the testnet. Although it still requires time and effort, at least it's a zero-cost way to practice. These seemingly simple tasks are actually laying the groundwork for the next cycle. Every interaction leaves footprints on the blockchain and lays the groundwork for future airdrops.
More importantly, the testnet is often the birthplace of new tracks. Today's interactions may relate to the next HYPE and Aster. Through deep participation in the testnet, we can discover potential projects earlier and establish cognitive advantages. When the project launches on the mainnet, we will no longer be the latecomers but early participants who are well-prepared.
The bear market is the best period for construction. When we let go of the obsession with getting rich quickly and calmly participate in project testing, learning underlying technologies, we can find a more solid path for growth. The testnet is like a training ground, allowing us to accumulate experience and familiarize ourselves with the ecosystem without losing money.
The market will always cycle, and the bull market will eventually return. But only those who survive until that time can enjoy the next wave of dividends. Instead of exhausting ammunition in a bear market, it's better to quietly cultivate on the testnet. Perhaps this is our wisest choice during the winter—not to fight for immediate gains and losses, but to prepare for the next cycle. Remember, each bear market is accumulating strength for the next bull market, and the true winners are those who lay the groundwork when no one is paying attention.
