The $ETH Layer 2 Graveyard Is Filling Up Fast.
The Ethereum scaling solution landscape is saturated. We are now drowning in dozens, potentially hundreds, of small-to-large Layer 2 projects, yet the critical reality remains: Value is overwhelmingly concentrated in the established top ten. The total user base and available market liquidity simply cannot sustain this level of fragmentation.
This is a dangerous hype cycle replay. Just last year, $ZKSYNC and $STARKNET dominated the conversation, promising revolutionary shifts. While the technology is often impressive, the long-term investment viability outside the core L2 ecosystem is rapidly diminishing.
Investors must be clinical. If an L2 cannot capture meaningful, sticky TVL and user adoptionโnot just launch incentivesโit will struggle to survive.
