Even with a 50% win rate, the funds will still decrease.
The reason is that the damage from losses to the funds is greater than the same proportional gain.
Thus, the more trades you make, the funds will gradually approach 0. This is why even if the market is random and seems fair, you will ultimately lose everything in the long run.
