Kite is developing a blockchain platform purpose-built for agentic payments, enabling autonomous AI agents to transact with security, verifiable identity, and programmable governance. Through Kite’s identity framework, each agent can prove who or what it is, the credentials it holds, and the permissions it has been granted. This verifiable identity model allows agents to engage in payments without relying on centralized intermediaries, reducing friction and enabling novel forms of automation. Governance rules—such as spending limits, compliance checks, multi-party approvals, or behavior constraints—can be encoded directly into on-chain logic, ensuring transactions follow transparent, auditable procedures.
