I believe many of you have read quite a few posts about short-term arbitrage with Binance's RWUSD and BFUSD over the past few months, which mostly say, "I found a short-term arbitrage opportunity to profit, everyone hurry and join in," and then you'll find that people are divided into three factions:
I. One faction of people, no matter how clearly the content is written, will still ask how to profit and whether they can get guidance.
II. One faction of people followed through and indeed managed to profit a bit.
III. One faction of people waited for a while, or saw the posts later, and made up their minds to follow through, but were hindered by limits on redemption, stuck with their assets or forced to sell at a loss, angrily telling everyone not to blindly follow the trend.
But the final result is still the same. With too many high-profile posts, the official side will certainly intervene. The redemption free limit for RWUSD has been reduced from 5000 to 500, while BFUSD is even worse, with the redemption free limit slashed from 5000 to only 100. In the end, everyone has no resources to continue.
But after these two experiences, when you say that there will be similar opportunities in the future, what do you think will be different in everyone's thoughts and actions? I think it will still be the same cycle. Those who discover it will still discover it early, those who post will still post for the hype, and those who do not will continue to ask.
