The Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued OJK Regulation (POJK) Number 23 of 2025 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Financial Services Authority Number 27 of 2024 regarding the Implementation of Digital Financial Asset Trading Including Crypto Assets.
The issuance of this POJK is driven by the positive development of Digital Financial Assets (AKD), particularly crypto assets, as an investment instrument in Indonesian society, as well as the emergence of new products and/or activities resembling conventional financial instruments, such as derivatives of digital financial assets.
"This POJK aims to strengthen the role and expand the scope for organizers of digital financial asset trading, as well as adopt a regulatory and supervisory framework with standards in the financial services sector and international best practices," said the Head of the Department of Literacy, Financial Inclusion, and Communication of OJK M Ismail Riyadi, in a written statement, Thursday (4/12/2025).
