Binance Chain's x402 Protocol - Key Item AEON @AEON_Community
From observing the price of Pieverse during this time (bottom left image), we can see that this token has been continuously reaching new highs since its launch, and is not afraid of the panic sell-off in the market.
Conclusion: Binance Alpha has a lot of hot money, a popular track (AI payment) + strong narrative (x402) + strong endorsement (BNB Chain official promotion) will attract funds.
Therefore, I will focus on @AEON_Community.
The current data for this project can be said to be extremely impressive (bottom right image), showing that AEON's total AI payment has exceeded 29 million USD, with a transaction volume exceeding 994,000, and the combined total of the base and sol chains is not as high as this.
A tricky issue for BSC in doing x402 is that native stablecoins on the chain like USDT, USDC, and FDUSD do not support EIP-3009, so BSC must solve this problem to implement x402.
Currently, both of these solutions look quite good.
1. $Pieverse's wrapper asset (pieUSD) has created a new stablecoin pieUSD (1:1 pegged to USDT), but this new coin natively supports EIP-3009, allowing users to exchange USDT for pieUSD → afterward, all payments are 0 gas. They also store payment receipts in BNB Greenfield (decentralized storage), achieving compliance and auditability. Advantages: the user experience is perfect, truly 0 gas, no approval needed. Disadvantages: requires an additional layer of wrapping (users need to exchange coins first). Although scared off by the market manipulators at launch, the token price has exceeded my expectations, and I conclude that Binance Alpha is definitely worth pursuing.
2. AEON's "Universal Facilitator Contract" (most direct) has created an intermediary contract (AEON Facilitator) where you first approve this contract to manage your USDT (just like regular DeFi). You sign "I agree to transfer" and the AEON contract verifies the signature → calls the regular transferFrom to send the money to the merchant. Advantages: supports any old ERC-20 (including existing USDT). Disadvantages: requires users to approve first (an extra step).
Focus on the listing price; personally, I judge that anything under 50M is a good entry opportunity. If caught in a downturn this time, I will definitely average down and hold long. Binance Alpha cannot be treated as a meme play; fundamentally solid projects can definitely be invested in!!!
