If you treat your account curve like a "report card," how would you approach it?
Many people, upon seeing drawdowns, start to hate themselves:
"Am I not suitable for this?"
But I now prefer to view the account curve as:
A reflection of my decision-making habits magnified over time.
If the curve fluctuates like an electrocardiogram:
It indicates that I am still very impulsive in emotions and positions;
If the curve becomes smoother:
It suggests that I have become more patient in choosing battlefields and timing for action.
When you treat it as a "habit report,"
You won't just focus on one or two gains and losses,
But will think—
Can I gradually eliminate bad habits?
