In recent days, the exchange rate of USDT suddenly plummeted, and there are many interpretations in the industry. I want to share two incidents that happened around me.
Incident 1: Buying U actually encountered the police at the door
The day before yesterday, when the market crashed, a friend called me to ask if I had U, as he wanted to buy some to lower his costs. Because he needs to provide various transaction records when buying U, many merchants do not recognize them.
When I went to see him yesterday, at first I couldn't get through on the phone. When we met, I learned that because he bought U and transferred money to a remote account, the anti-fraud center and the police station called him, asking what the transfer was for. He couldn't say it was for buying U, so he hung up, and then the police came to his door.
And this is not over yet.
Douyin also has an anti-fraud center, and strangely, Meituan has one too, and they all called him one by one.
The crackdown on virtual currencies in the country is really severe.
Incident 2:
Last month, my mother withdrew 10000 cash from the bank.
Then the trouble started.
The police station in her registered residence called to ask what the cash withdrawal was for.
The police station in her place of residence also called to inquire about the purpose of the cash withdrawal.
Ignoring them, the police station dispatched officers, came to inquire and confirm, but no one was home.
Even more outrageous, they called me late at night after 11 o'clock, asking about the purpose of the withdrawn funds.

The domestic monitoring of accounts with long periods of silent funds is very sensitive.
If they find you withdrew cash, the anti-fraud center will definitely ask questions to confirm.
