I suggest everyone turn off the automatic download feature in Chrome as soon as possible, and try not to use their own phones with the main wallet to click on any suspicious links in TG.
I went to check the two main wallets that he shared, and indeed, assets worth nearly 20M were transferred in bulk 5 hours ago.
Currently, he is calling out in his TG channel willing to give the hacker 5M as a reward, but he feels the hope is slim.
The victim recounts the experience:
"Someone tried to extort me, I didn't take it seriously, but I was quite interested in his OSINT skills.
So I chatted with him for a while. I had previously had an account hacked, so I paid a little money for him to help me with due diligence (DD).
At first, he sent me the due diligence results through some links, and I asked him to send it as text. He later sent a link that led to a website disguised as Etherscan, which would automatically download and execute a file (so I couldn't avoid it using TG's 'disable automatic downloads' method).
I was such an idiot that I actually 'checked' those clicks on my phone right away, and that phone just happened to have my multi-signature wallet's second signer.
