According to CryptoRank data, early-stage financing in the crypto market (including angel rounds, Pre-Seed, seed rounds, etc.) continues to weaken. The financing amount has decreased by 50% and the number of financing rounds has decreased by 63% since Q2 2024. The financing amount was only $290 million in Q2 2026, with 63 rounds—the lowest level ever recorded in the statistical period. The overall downward trend remains unchanged, despite a brief rebound in Q3 2025 ($645.00 million, 103 rounds). CryptoRank pointed out that the gap between early-stage and late-stage financing continues to widen, with investors increasingly favoring larger-scale, more mature projects.
