What is Lisk (LSK)
And what is the idea of the project
In an important note at the end of the article 😉
• Lisk is a blockchain platform aimed at making the development of decentralized applications (dApps) easier and more accessible, through what is known as 'sidechains' + development tools (SDK) that allow developers to use JavaScript/TypeScript.
• The idea is that instead of relying on a single congested main chain (like Ethereum) — applications on Lisk are deployed on a separate 'sidechain', which provides speed, reduced transaction fees, flexibility in setup, and customization per application.
• LSK is the native token/coin of the system: It is used to pay fees, participate in governance, for delegation (staking / delegated staking), and to secure the network and support node operation (delegates/validators).
In short: Lisk aims to be a “facilitated and open” Web3 platform that helps many developers build applications — while improving usability compared to some heavy blockchains.

📦 Supply – How many units of LSK are available / distribution / emission
• The maximum total supply (max supply) for LSK has become 400 million tokens after the recent migration that the network conducted in 2024.
• From this: Part of it was allocated to token holders before the migration, part to the “DAO” treasury (to fund the ecosystem), part for staking/network operation rewards, part for incentives/ecosystem, part for liquidity, and part for the team & founders.
• The current circulating supply — about 225-230 million LSK (according to recent data) out of 400 million.
• The network used a “block reward (forging rewards)” mechanism with rewards decreasing over time — it started with higher rewards and then diminished, which reduces inflation over time.
→ This means that LSK is not “rare” like some coins with very low max supply, but it is distributed in a balance that considers incentives, the network, and operation.

💪 Features and strengths of Lisk / Why some see it as a promising project
• Ease of development — using JavaScript: Since Lisk uses SDK and supports familiar languages for many web developers, this reduces the barrier to entry and makes building dApps / services on the blockchain easier.
• Sidechains + Customizability: Not all applications share the same chain, rather each application/project can get a dedicated chain — which provides significant flexibility in terms of speed, transactions, resources, and scalability.
• Support for staking / Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS): The user or LSK holder can participate in securing the network / voting / block production through token delegation or running a node — this gives actual value to LSK rather than just a “speculative token.”
• Web3 vision + goal of reaching emerging markets: There is a focus in some use cases on emerging markets, linking the project to DeFi opportunities, applications, and building an ecosystem.

⚠️ Weaknesses / Risks / What to watch out for in Lisk
• Competition is strong: The blockchain market + Layer-2 solutions + sidechains/rollups are crowded — Lisk competes with many platforms and frameworks, which means its success is not guaranteed.
• Dependence on developer participation: If the development team or developer community does not provide sufficient support or shows no interest in building dApps, the actual value of the project may remain weak.
• Limited demand/use so far: Despite the potential, not all decentralized applications or users are turning to Lisk, so actual use may remain limited — meaning that the level of interest will determine the fate of LSK.
• Price volatility + investment risk: Like many coins/tokens, the price is volatile, and the value depends on the success of the project/ecosystem expansion/external adoption.

🎯 My opinion: Who might LSK be suitable for now?
• If you are interested in supporting Web3 projects — dApps / applications / innovation on the blockchain — and want to be part of an “infrastructure” system rather than just speculation — Lisk is a logical option to consider as part of a diversified portfolio.
• If you seek an investment of medium-long term with risk tolerance, LSK might provide an opportunity — but do not rely on it alone, and consider it a “bet on the project’s success.”
• If you prefer security and stable value — it’s best to diversify your investments, as Lisk (like many tokens) is subject to significant volatility.
⚠️Important note:
LISK - LSK this coin first thing if it is good and the number of coins is low we might see it around 0.232 to 0.237 very close 🎯 and then to 0.4380
And investment what does it want….. it wants patience and waiting ...
