• Binance now has two CEOs
Binance recently appointed Yi He — a co-founder of Binance — as co-CEO alongside Richard Teng.
This move marks a major leadership change, presumably to strengthen governance, boost global expansion, and respond to regulatory and operational challenges.
• Binance introduces a youth-focused “Junior” savings account
Binance launched a new savings-account option aimed at kids/teens (ages 6–17), giving parents the ability to supervise the account.
This is part of their strategy to expand services beyond trading — trying to bring in a broader user base, including younger/novice crypto users.
• Some tokens & futures contracts are being delisted or reviewed
Binance announced it will delist certain futures contracts — specifically the USDⓈ-M perpetual contracts for tickers like SKATEUSDT, REIUSDT, FISUSDT and VOXELUSDT. Positions will close on December 10, 2025.
On the “spot trading” side, a batch of BTC-trading pairs (and some alt-pairs) were also delisted on December 5, 2025.
Binance also added several tokens to a “watchlist” due to risk/volatility concerns (for instance: CHESS, DENT, DF, GHST, SXP). Users are warned these coins may be delisted if they don’t meet platform criteria.
• Network-upgrade maintenance affecting certain tokens
To support a network upgrade of THORChain (RUNE), Binance suspended deposits and withdrawals of THORChain-network tokens starting December 5, 2025. Trading activity — at least for relevant trading pairs — was meant to continue unaffected.
Also, there is a planned upgrade for Terra (LUNA)’s network — Binance will suspend deposits/withdrawals of LUNA (and related tokens) on December 8, 2025 during the upgrade window.
✅ What this means for You (especially if you’re in Pakistan)
The dual-CEO structure may bring more stability and improved governance at Binance — which is important given global regulatory scrutiny and Binance’s large user base.
If you have minor dependents and want to involve them in crypto (for savings or education), Binance’s “Junior” account may be of interest — but do it with caution and full awareness of risks.
If you trade altcoins, futures or less-known tokens: check whether your tokens/pairs are on the watchlist or scheduled for delisting — you may need to plan ahead.
For certain tokens like RUNE or LUNA: be aware of upcoming network upgrades — deposits/withdrawals may be temporarily disabled during that time.
