I was fortunate to have live-streamed with Teacher Cat a few times. Here’s a simple summary of her strengths:
1. Simple and efficient market analysis approach (replicable methodology)
She determines buying and selling points through the highs and lows of the structure while maintaining consistency. I refer to her TradingView as ‘stoic’ style! Almost aside from candlesticks, there aren’t any flashy indicators or tools.

It’s normal for traders to be bullish or bearish in different cycles, but even when Teacher Cat is bearish, she rarely shorts. She either takes profits or stays in cash and observes. She often says, “Doing both long and short makes it easy to get confused and end up being hit from both sides,” which is a common mistake many people make.
3. The philosophy of holding onto the right trades and cutting losses on the wrong ones
In July and August this year, she made about 900,000 ETH from the Ethereum market trend. Her position cost was probably not as good as most people's. She started building her position at 2700 by judging the daily structure candlestick (as mentioned above) and then allocated and chose to add to her position at 2900, 3100, 3300, and 3700 as it gained. She held on until late September when the structure broke below 4200-4400, taking profits in batches. As she mentioned, often a single position can be held for a long time, and she tries to hold on and keep adding until the trend turns.

Once late at night, we live-streamed and analyzed the market for two hours. I suddenly realized my BTC price was inconsistent with hers! I thought there was a problem. She said that when I was analyzing the market, I turned off the movement of the candlesticks. That thing jumps around and can easily affect one’s mindset, so it’s important to calmly assess future possibilities. This includes frequent meditation and preparing for the worst when losses occur, not being swayed by emotions.
