What would be the standard for privacy in the future Web3/AI:
zkPass and Zama
must both be present. What would that look like?
Both are aimed at privacy,
zkPass ZK identity privacy proof
Zama FHE encrypted computation,
This is complementary Web3/AI data security.
zkPass is an MPC+ZK protocol, converting private network data to on-chain, ZK proof without revealing the underlying.
Zama focuses on FHE, keeping computation always encrypted, collaborating with AWS for end-to-end protection.
Privacy circle consensus, the two projects' routes complement each other, and there has been discussion about this.
If these two,
join forces to create an all-privacy DeFi protocol, would you dare to try it early?
If you are a developer,
would you first use zkPass to hide user IDs,
or Zama to encrypt their transaction data?
Haha, just a personal thought.
I guess early adopters still vaguely remember,
in 2017, the Equifax data breach, identity information exposed,
140 million people affected, and the final result was a fine of 700 million dollars.
Also, early Bitcoin wallets had fully transparent transaction computations,
without an encryption layer, whale addresses were laid bare, thefts occurred frequently, resulting in losses of over a hundred million.
Furthermore, the commonly used OpenAI faced a leak wave in 2023, was sued by users in court, OpenAI apologized and compensated, trust collapsed.
All of these point directly to the core of privacy issues: single privacy is easy to breach, but the combination of dual swords is stable.
Imagine on-chain lending without fear of hackers,
AI chatting without fear of eavesdropping, the future is exciting!
Therefore, the future of these two must be able to genuinely combine, so we must pay close attention.
