I finally understood that making money in the cryptocurrency market is easy, but keeping it is difficult. Just going long is like “sending your head to the guillotine.”
After reflecting on my pain, I adjusted my strategy: building a solid base with spot trading, using contracts as assistance, only playing with top coins like BTC, ETH, and SOL, avoiding chasing highs and cutting losses, while patiently lurking.
After two years of patience, I finally welcomed the major bull market in 2021. With the explosion of DeFi, I heavily invested in UNI and AAVE, easily achieving tenfold returns; during the meme craze, I went all in on DOGE and SHIB, making a staggering 5 million from a single coin. I took profits at the peak of the bull market, securing 30 million and completely cashing out.
Now that the market has corrected, I am no longer afraid. It's not that I can predict the market, but my mindset has stabilized. Making big money relies on patience, strategy, and compound interest, rather than impulsiveness and risking everything.
