In an urgent announcement Friday, UXLINK’s leadership addressed the severe breach that compromised the project’s multi-signature wallet — an exploit that allowed attackers to mint billions of unauthorized tokens and drain over $11.3 million in crypto assets.

The CEO confirmed that hacked funds — including USDT, USDC, WBTC and ETH — were transferred to both centralized and decentralized exchanges. A newly audited smart contract has now been deployed, with the mint-burn function removed to prevent similar incidents in the future.

To protect legitimate holders, UXLINK will launch a token swap portal on October 1, with a 1:1 swap for legally held tokens. Illegally minted coins will be excluded....
