Abu Dhabi (UAE) gives the green light to major crypto players
The Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) is actively licensing major crypto players, bolstering its ambition to become a global crypto hub:
1️⃣ Circle: licensed to operate as a Currency Service Provider, while appointing new leadership to expand in the Middle East & North Africa.
2️⃣ Tether: ADGM officially recognizes USDT as a valid fiat-token. Licensed entities can provide services with USDT across major networks: Aptos, Celo, Cosmos, Kaia, Near, Polkadot, Tezos, TON, and TRON.
3️⃣ Binance: received a full set of licenses to operate the platform through 3 legal entities: exchange - custody - clearing, while complying with ADGM's stringent supervisory standards.
