Do you keep staring at the K-line until dawn?

There's no need!

In the cryptocurrency market, if you want to make steady profits without stressing out, these three practical tips have been tested and are effective. In 2025, I relied on this trick to earn effortlessly from ETH and SOL fluctuations, without missing out on family time.

Tip one: Don't be greedy when taking profits; securing profits is the real deal.

My iron rule is to reduce my position by 40% when there's a 15% increase, using part of the profits as a base.

In November, during ETH's rebound from $2543, I sold half at a 16% increase, and later when the price corrected by 12%, my profits remained secure.

If it shoots up to over 25%, I set a trailing stop to protect a 10% profit. For instance, when SOL surged to $139 in December, I didn't gamble on the peak; I kept some position to follow the trend, which turned out to be more stable than those chasing the top.

Tip two: A stop-loss is a lifeline; don’t confront the trend head-on.

In the early days of trading SOL contracts, I held from a 12% profit down to a 23% loss before cutting it, a painful lesson that led me to set a rule to clear my position at a 15% loss.

This year, SOL had a single 12-hour liquidation of $8.93 million, mostly from retail traders holding their positions, while I only had one stop-loss exceed 10% all year, never getting deeply stuck.

Always set a stop-loss when opening a position; it's your qualification to stay in the market.

Tip three: Don’t go empty when taking profits; replenish to avoid missing out.

If you’re bullish on a coin, after taking profits, when it drops back to the cost price, replenish according to the original position.

In November, when trading ADA, I took profits and it dropped back to the $0.48 cost line; after replenishing, the number of coins remained the same, earning an extra $2000, which is more reliable than waiting for a new high.

However, if you encounter low liquidity markets like the ADA whale trap, then adjust your levels instead of stubbornly sticking to it.

According to Glassnode data, in 2025, contract traders had a loss rate of 85%, all trapped in “greed” and “holding.”

By adhering to these three points, you can earn USDT to improve your life without being tied down by market conditions; this is the true essence of trading cryptocurrencies.
