What is Midnight (NIGHT)?
Midnight is a partner network of the Cardano blockchain, developed to enable the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) that protect sensitive user data and metadata from users, businesses, and transactions, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Double Tokenomics: The Midnight ecosystem operates with a two-token model:
NIGHT: It is the native and governance token of the network. It is a transparent asset (not shielded) used to ensure the security of the network and participate in voting on the future of the protocol.
DUST: It is an internal, shielded, and non-transferable resource used to pay transaction fees and execute smart contracts. Ownership of the NIGHT token automatically generates DUST, which regenerates over time, like a "rechargeable battery".
