Cathy Wood expects that institutional adoption of Bitcoin could stabilize its price
According to PANews, ARK Invest CEO Cathy Wood expressed optimism about the future of Bitcoin, noting that institutional adoption could prevent significant price declines. In a recent interview on the 'Morning with Maria' show, Wood stated that Bitcoin's role as a risk asset could disrupt the four-year boom and bust cycle, which has previously seen price declines ranging from 75% to 90%. She pointed out that Bitcoin's volatility is decreasing, with current declines around 30%. Despite Bitcoin's previous role as a safe-haven asset during crises like the European sovereign debt crisis and the American regional bank crisis, it now exhibits characteristics of a risk asset. Concerns remain about Bitcoin's cyclical pattern, but institutional engagement may help mitigate future declines. Wood suggested that the price of Bitcoin may have reached its lowest point weeks ago.
