SpaceX's Bitcoin move: What's happening?

SpaceX has just transferred $94 million in Bitcoin (1.021 BTC) to two addresses, continuing a pattern of $100 million weekly transfers over the past two months. This activity comes as Elon Musk's aerospace company is reportedly preparing for a potential IPO in 2026 that could raise over $30 billion at a valuation of $1.5 trillion.

Currently, SpaceX holds 8,285 BTC (approximately $770 million), making it the fourth-largest private company holding Bitcoin. If it maintains this position after the IPO, it will rank as the 14th largest public company holder.

Recent Bitcoin price charts show some volatility, with BTC trading around $92,000 after recovering from a drop to $81,000 in November, although it remains 27% lower than the record high of $126,000 in October.

Although SpaceX has not touched its Bitcoin for three years prior to these recent transactions, the purpose behind these moves remains unclear, and the company has not commented on the transactions.
