Musk confirms the arrival of SpaceX's IPO, he claims he will no longer participate in DOGE
Elon Musk has, in practice, confirmed that SpaceX is preparing to go public, while expressing his regrets about his time at the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
When space journalist Eric Berger published an analysis titled "Here’s why I think SpaceX will go public soon," Musk reacted: "As always, Eric is accurate." Berger is widely regarded as the most reliable source on SpaceX.
In an interview broadcast Tuesday on a podcast with former DOGE spokesperson Katie Miller, Musk stated that he would no longer consider participating in DOGE. "I think instead of getting involved in DOGE, I would have simply worked on my companies," he said. "And they wouldn’t have set the cars on fire," he added, alluding to the acts of vandalism that occurred at Tesla dealerships during the time he held that public position.
