The Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus reported that access to the websites of major cryptocurrency exchanges — OKX, Bitget, BingX, Bybit, Weex, and Gate is restricted starting December 9. The basis for this was a notification from the Minsk City Executive Committee, which recorded 'improper advertising' on these resources.
The department clarified that more detailed information about the nature of the violations can only be provided to the owners of these internet resources. Unlocking is possible after the identified violations are rectified and legal requirements are met.
On December 10, users began reporting the unavailability of websites through Belarusian internet providers. However, by the evening of December 11 (5:00 PM Moscow time), all exchanges from the list remained accessible for viewing and authorization.
The registry of restricted access does not include such large platforms as Binance and KuCoin.
