The prosecutor accused Rinsch of embezzling $11 million received from Netflix and using some of the funds to purchase cryptocurrency. Earlier reports indicated that Carl Rinsch initially invested $4 million in Dogecoin, eventually profiting $27 million, but later squandered most of the profits on luxury goods.Rinsch faces a maximum sentence of 90 years and will be officially sentenced on April 17, 2026.
