📘 Have you ever wondered how to read an order book? 👇

At the top (in red), you see the sell orders (asks).

Each line corresponds to a specific price and the total amount that users are willing to sell at that price.

For example:

• at 92,300 $, there is 0.5 BTC for sale

• at 92,100 $, there is 0.1 BTC for sale

At the bottom (in green), these are the buy orders (bids):

• 0.2 BTC are waiting at 91,900 $

• 4 BTC are waiting at 91,500 $

The last trading price (92,300 $) corresponds to the last executed transaction, not to a “theoretical” price.

👉 If a buyer sends a market order of 0.5 BTC,

the exchange will match this request

with the available sell orders at 92,300 $.

👉 If there isn’t enough BTC at this price,

the order will be executed at the following prices, line by line.

In reality, the order book does not indicate where the price will go. It shows where the market is willing to trade now.
