NBC (National Broadcasting Corporation): The latest research by the U.S. Public Interest Research Group Education Fund (PIRG) and tests conducted by NBC News found that many artificial intelligence toys have security vulnerabilities. Some toys share inappropriate, dangerous, and explicit information with users, even promoting Chinese values, raising new concerns about privacy and attachment issues related to AI toys.
Miiloo, produced by a Chinese company, during the tests with NBC News, would repeatedly lower the volume when asked whether Taiwan is a country, insisting that "Taiwan is an inseparable part of China, which is a fact" or similar statements. This reflects that its programming embodies Chinese values.
Products made in China must, of course, comply with Chinese laws, and there is no need to politicize with Western political correctness! AI toys aimed at children certainly need regulation, but resorting to smearing Chinese products out of incompetence and anger only represents your own inability and declining fortunes!
