Dumb methods are the way to survive! I turned 20,000 into 1,000,000 using the 'Lying Flat Nine-Character Formula'
Don't rush to criticize the '100% profit rate' clickbait; let me self-disclose:
In 2022, I turned 20,000 U into 1,000,000 U using the 'Lying Flat Nine-Character Formula' below, without high leverage, no insider groups, just candlesticks and an alarm clock. Dumb as it may be, it really made money.
1️⃣ Look for resilience in a crash
In March 2023, BTC dropped 20% overnight, while SOL only dropped 7%, and the net inflow of the top 10 addresses on-chain actually increased by 12%, clearly supporting the market.
The next day, I bought in at 0.3 U, and two months later it rose to 0.9 U, cashing in three times.
2️⃣ Red and green lights at 5-day/20-day
For short-term, look at the 5-day line; if it breaks, exit; for medium-term, watch the 20-day line, only hold if it stabilizes.
In 2024, ETH rose from 3k to 3.6k on the 5-day line, I closely followed it, and exited at 3.48k, making 8%.
3️⃣ Continue lying flat with shrinking volume
If the main upward wave doesn't increase in volume, it's the institutional investors locking in.
Last year, APT rose for 5 days straight while volume shrank by 18%. I followed in at 1.8 U and exited at 2.4 U, making +33%.
4️⃣ Exit if no rise in 3 days
If there's no movement in three days after buying short-term, cut losses immediately; time is also a cost.
I used this tactic to cut off 4 'zombie positions' in 2022, saving 30% of funds for other uses.
5️⃣ Pick up rebounds after 8 days of excessive decline
When the coin price is halved and drops for 8 consecutive days, it enters an oversold zone.
In 2021, DOGE dropped from 0.7 to 0.35, and on the 9th day, it rebounded to 0.5. I bottomed at 0.35 and sold at 0.48, making +37%.
6️⃣ Only trade leading coins
Leading coins rise sharply and resist declines.
BTC, ETH, and SOL are my chosen three; the rest are treated like a lottery.
7️⃣ Trend > Price
Don't be greedy for 'cheap'; buy at the 'right position'.
In 2024, BTC at 42,000 seems expensive, but the daily EMA30 is upward, so I entered after the breakout at 52,000, still making +24%.
8️⃣ Profit first asks luck or skill
After each trade, I write three sentences: Why enter? Why exit? What percentage is luck?
If luck is >60%, I allocate a small position; if skill is >60%, I go with the main position, long-term drawdown dropped to 45%.
9️⃣ Being in cash is the best strategy
No signals? Shut down; staying in cash can still outperform 80% of people.
In December last year, I had no trades for the whole month, avoiding a -15% fluctuation. After New Year’s, I entered after a breakout, making +18% in two weeks.
Trading is not about speed; it's about success rate.
Those who can survive in the market and still make money are always the ones who dare to reach out first.
