# Trend Shift Confirmation
## What is a Clean Sweep?
A clean sweep happens when the market quickly moves to grab liquidity sitting above a high or below a low and then reverses sharply.
In other words:
- Price takes out a previous high or low.
- Stops get hunted.
- Liquidity gets collected.
- Then the market moves in the opposite direction.
**Why it matters?**
Because clean sweeps often signal the end of a move and the beginning of a reversal. Smart money uses these levels to fill orders.
Example:
- Price drops below a previous low → hits stop losses → quickly jumps back up. This is a clean sweep of the lows. ✅
## What is a Strong Rejection?
A strong rejection is when price touches a key level (support, resistance, supply, demand) and gets aggressively pushed back.
Signs of strong rejection:
- Long wicks (especially on higher timeframes)
- Sharp reversal candles
- High volume at the level
- Market tries to break but is instantly pushed back
**Why it matters?**
A strong rejection shows that buyers or sellers defended that level with force. It indicates where big players are positioned.
Use these 2 concepts to identify Trend Reversals, very easy and effective.
