I recently realized a problem:
Web3 has been competing for asset ownership,
But it rarely treats users' attention properly.
Our attention is treated as fuel,
Burning in endless brush airdrops, rushing tasks, squatting in minting,
In the end, all that is left is fatigue and fragmented time.
Kite showed me another possibility:
Attention should not be consumed,
And it should be connected and valued.
It’s like a kite string,
Does not snatch your attention,
It just helps you focus your attention on what matters,
Give it a chance to rise, unfold, and gain perspective.
First, Kite does not create 'attention debt'.
Many projects use high incentives to attract you to invest time,
But that kind of investment is essentially debt:
The project side has to repay in the future,
You may not be able to recover it.
Kite's design is closer to 'attention investment':
As you invest attention,
is building an accumulative value trajectory.
Even if the project itself is no longer active,
Your attention records still exist,
Become part of your on-chain resume.
Attention is no longer a disposable good.
Second, Kite allows 'layered investment' of attention.
I think what modern people find most exhausting is:
Attention cannot be used in levels.
You either concentrate fully,
or completely leave.
But in the Kite ecosystem,

This is what I think is the most innovative point:

Your sustained attention to a certain field,

Your high-frequency interactions with certain people,
Can settle into collaborative credit.
Attention is no longer intangible,
Attention becomes portable, verifiable, and usable assets.
Fourth, Kite gives attention 'sovereignty'.
Where your attention flowed in the past,
Determined by platform algorithms;
How much is your attention worth,
priced by advertisers.
Within the framework of Kite,
You can choose where to direct your attention,
You can define how attention is valued yourself,
You can decide how the value generated by attention is distributed.
Attention is no longer externally priced,
Attention is defined by you.
I am becoming clearer now:
The real scarce resource in the future is not tokens,
But rather high-quality attention.
Kite seemed to have seen this early on,
So it is not in a hurry to financialize,
But first, build an attention-friendly economic environment.
In this environment,
Attention is not harvested,
Attention is respected;
Attention is not fragmented,
Attention can accumulate;
Attention is not controlled,
Attention can be sovereign.
Maybe one day we will say:
Kite has taught us how to treat our own attention again
not letting it drift away,
But is like flying a kite,
Give it string, give it wind,
Give it room to rise,
Then see it bring us to unobserved landscapes.
