⚠️ Scam messages in DMs are spreading widely
Recently, I have been receiving messages on app X claiming:
Activating an investment account
There is a huge balance (millions of USDT 💰)
Unrealistic and guaranteed profits
External links and communication via WhatsApp or Telegram
❌ These are confirmed scam messages without any doubt
❓ First: Why are these messages confirmed scams?
1️⃣ Messages: "Your account has been activated / you have a huge balance"
For example:
“Your investment account has been successfully activated”
And it includes:
Mentioned a fictitious balance (thousands or millions of USDT)
Give you a username + password
Setting an external login link ❌ (not Binance)
📌 This is the most dangerous type of fraud
🚫 Important reminder:
Binance never does:
Sending passwords
Send login links outside the app
Messaging you privately on X or Telegram
🎯 The real goal of these messages:
Stealing your data
Or deceiving you into depositing money into a fake site
Or linking your wallet and withdrawing your balance later
❓ Is just clicking the link dangerous?
🔴 Yes, sometimes it is dangerous
Even without downloading anything, the link may:
Collects information about your phone 📱
Locates your approximate location 🌍
Redirects you to a fake site resembling Binance
Makes you a target for subsequent attacks
🚨 The real danger begins if:
You entered the password
Uploaded a file
Linked your wallet
You agreed to permissions
🛑 Signs of phishing messages:
❌ Guaranteed profits
❌ Fictitious rates (1000% – 7000%)
❌ External links
❌ Request to switch to WhatsApp or Telegram
❌ New accounts or accounts with attractive names
✅ What should you do?
✔️ Do not click on any link
✔️ Do not reply to the message
✔️ Block the account immediately
✔️ Report it
✔️ Always enable 2FA
📌 Any private message about investment = 99.9% fraud
