According to Techub News, Wu Jiezhong expressed his thoughts on being re-elected as the eighth member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, stating, 'Moving forward, I will continue to promote the development of Web3 in Hong Kong in the parliament, and I will also assist the Hong Kong SAR government in developing cutting-edge future industries, including embodied intelligence, quantum computing, and space technology, to establish Hong Kong's unique positioning as an international innovation and technology center as assigned by the nation.'

In addition, Wu Jiezhong responded to questions about the future direction of stablecoins and the development of RWA. He stated, 'The development of stablecoins in Hong Kong will not have significant changes and will continue to progress steadily'; 'RWA is a topic that is currently being discussed extensively in both traditional and Web3 industries. Hong Kong has already promoted a regulatory sandbox, and I believe that under the sandbox, the importance of compliant development and the future direction of regulation will be explored. I think different industries can boldly try to integrate Web3 technology, which is believed to drive the development of a large number of tangible applications.' Regarding how to respond to the rapidly increasing demand from developers, Wu Jiezhong mentioned that the Hong Kong SAR government has been working hard to promote the development of the Northern Metropolis and the Lok Ma Chau Loop, which not only attracts enterprises to settle but also boosts talent. More and more enterprises in Hong Kong are setting up locations for Web3 public chains, compliant exchanges, and underlying infrastructure. The success of developers and innovative technology companies is closely linked, and in the future, efforts will be made to assist the industry in creating a talent ecosystem to attract more developers and practitioners to settle in Hong Kong.
