How I Got Scammed in P2P in Pakistan

I’m sharing this to warn others. I was trading crypto via P2P in Pakistan when a scammer used a fake payment receipt and pressured me to release the crypto quickly. I trusted the screenshot instead of waiting for the actual bank SMS/confirmation. Once the crypto was released, the payment never arrived—and the buyer disappeared.

Lesson learned:

Always verify payment in your bank app, never trust screenshots, avoid off-platform chats, and use platform escrow & appeal immediately if something feels wrong.
