The 'Korea Fintech Week 2025' hosted by the Financial Committee has successfully concluded. This year's event attracted over 12,000 participants, demonstrating the industry's high attention to the fintech sector.

This event was held from November 26 to 28 at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, for three days. The seventh edition of this expo was themed 'Fintech × Artificial Intelligence, Adding Taste to Finance,' featuring 128 companies and institutions showcasing the latest fintech technologies and services. In addition to the main exhibition, 13 specialized seminars were held concurrently, providing a valuable information exchange platform for industry professionals and the general public.

During the expo, a corporate investment briefing was held simultaneously. Major domestic venture capital institutions such as Xiaoxing Chuangtou, SBVA, and Intervest participated, and it is reported that they are conducting investment evaluations on five companies: Softment, IOrora, Payhere, SwitchOne, and C&Tech. Industry evaluations indicate that this event not only provided fundraising opportunities for fintech startups but also created a platform for investment institutions to discover potential enterprises.

In addition, the Financial Committee selected the 'Top Ten K-Fintech Companies of the Year' to focus on rising stars in the industry. A total of 10 companies were selected, including GradeHealthChain, which develops healthcare blockchain, and Design&Practice, which designs professional fintech solutions, and they will receive priority for policy and promotional support in the future.

A survey conducted after the event showed a high level of audience satisfaction. 94.2% of respondents indicated they would be willing to visit the next expo again, further confirming the status of domestic fintech industry events. Based on this, the financial authorities have decided that the next expo, 'Korea Fintech Week 2026', will be held for three days starting from November 25, 2026, at the same venue, the Yangjae aT Center.

This trend indicates that the domestic fintech industry is surpassing a purely technical field and growing into a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing investment, policy support, and user experience. As fintech services leveraging artificial intelligence technology are fully deployed, whether this expo can grow to become a representative platform for the Asian fintech market in the future is receiving significant attention.
