Why does BTC "inch inch" while alt dies?

1️⃣ BTC absorbs all liquidity

• BTC moves sideways in a narrow range, no dump, no pump

• But:

• Funding continues

• Capital is held in BTC

• MM does not need to push BTC, just needs to keep it from crashing

👉 Alt has no new capital flow → bleeds slowly.

2️⃣ No narrative → alt is sold off evenly

• When BTC hasn't broken:

• No reason for FOMO

• No reason for short panic

• At this time, alt:

• Holders are tired

• Traders do not see a good risk-reward

→ Gradually sell to switch back to BTC / USDT

📌 Alt does not die because it's bad

📌 Alt dies because it lacks reasons to live

3️⃣ Classic structure before the market turns

Usually happens in the following order:

1. BTC sideways is boring 😴

2. Alt bleeds → sentiment hits the bottom

3. BTC breaks the range

4. Alt can finally breathe

👉 Alt is always a victim of phases 1 & 2

Signs for alt to "stop dying"

Just need 1 of 3:

• BTC breaks 90.5k – 91k clearly

• BTC dumps hard and then recovers immediately (resets funding)

• BTC dominance stops increasing

Currently: none of these → alt still hurts.

BTC moving sideways is when the market pulls oxygen away from alt.

No noise. No crash.

Just... slowly dying.
