Post-00s Cryptocurrency Chronicles: From Peak to Trough, Seeking a Ray of Hope
I, born after 2000, ran a small company, and my annual profit once steadily reached 1.3 million, a definite small winner in life.
In 2023, I stepped into the cryptocurrency world, bought altcoins with a few thousand, and leveraged 3 times, and within a week, it surprisingly shot up to 50,000! After withdrawing, I was elated, thinking I found the key to wealth, and plunged headfirst into the vortex of contracts.
In August, I deposited five thousand, and shorted that altcoin which had previously made me money with 50 times leverage; in three seconds, I was liquidated! I deposited another five thousand and continued shorting; after half an hour, I was liquidated again! From then on, I sank deeper into the abyss of contracts.
From August to December, altcoin contracts caused me to lose two hundred thousand, and I spent every day in the office staring at charts, nearly neglecting my company.
Later, I found altcoins too risky and switched to mainstream coins BTC, SOL, ETH, but still suffered unbearable losses. On a certain platform, I lost a total of 62,000 USDT; after complaining to the U merchants on Alipay, I was banned from recharging on that platform and had to temporarily quit.
This year, I came across a video of BTC surging to 90,000 USD, and I felt restless, thinking the opportunity to short had come. I registered a Hong Kong ID to download BNB, and when it was around 210, I shorted SOL with all 80,000 USDT; the result was predictable, and I lost everything.
My girlfriend of three years also left me, crying as she said, “I don’t want to marry a gambler.” To fill the hole, I sold a Toyota Land Cruiser and a newly acquired Xiaomi car, and drove an old Nissan that had been in the family for over ten years, falling from glory to becoming a laughingstock.
However, now my team and I have bid farewell to the nightmare of frequent stop-loss liquidations, and our income is steadily increasing.
The path of cryptocurrency has buried too many people, but I only pull along those with fate, smart people, and honest individuals! Going solo is a certain death; with a team to guide the direction, if you want to get back on land or want to turn your funds around, come along and charge with me!
