It has been 3 months since I entered the Alpha ecosystem, let me get straight to the results: total earnings 1559U, total expenses 577U, final net earnings 982U, which averages out to more than 10U per day.
Looking back to mid-September when I was still feeling my way through, I foolishly traded KOGE using BNB in my wallet, and later traded KOGE using USDT— placing orders at the 33,000 level every day, just the USDT and BNB transaction fees burnt through more than 8U daily. I stubbornly continued trading for a month, but fortunately, the earnings in September were impressive enough to cover the high transaction fees.
By mid-October, I started trying to trade 4x point currencies, but I still didn’t leap out of the “wallet trading” misconception, and I operated in a muddled way for more than 20 days. I maintained a trading frequency of 33,000, and the daily fees dropped to 6U, but the earnings in October were still considerable, and after deducting expenses, at least I didn’t incur a loss.
A turning point appeared in early November: I finally grasped the mechanics of reverse orders and understood that I needed to trade 4x point currencies using USDT on exchanges. After trying a few times, the results were unexpectedly good, so I raised the level to 66,000, and directly reduced the fees to 4U per day. Unfortunately, the overall earnings in November saw a significant decline, which was a mixed bag of good and bad news.
Now, by mid-December, I have fixed my daily trading at the 66,000 level, and I can control the fees around 3.5U, but the earnings situation is not much different from November.
Looking back at the airdrop gains over these three months: I managed to grab 24 airdrops, plus 2 compensatory airdrops (some airdrops were not fully claimed in September and October, and the platform would issue the remaining shares to participants from the previous day. Now that I think about it, back then, everyone was picky about airdrops, which is unthinkable now).
Sometimes I can’t help but wonder: if I had known about reverse orders from the start and directly traded at the 66,000 level, would I have been able to grab more airdrops and save a significant amount in fees? The answer is definitely "yes." But nobody is born understanding all the rules; it’s all about stepping into pitfalls, trial and error, and slowly figuring things out— the friend who introduced me only gave me a hint, and all these details were learned through operating in the community square, reading posts, and summarizing. But in the end, I still have to thank that friend; if he hadn’t told me about the Alpha airdrop, I wouldn’t have even had the chance to get started.
