ME news, December 16 (UTC+8), ME Group, as a senior advisory unit of the 'RWA Ecological International Federation,' participated on December 15 in the press conference hosted by the RWA Ecological International Federation and organized by Bauhinia Magazine for the 'Establishment of the RWA Ecological International Federation and the Launch of the First RWA Global Summit.'
The conference gathered over a hundred experts, scholars, corporate representatives, and industry leaders from finance, technology, academia, industry, and media to witness this landmark moment. This event marks the official establishment of the world's first non-profit international organization focused on the digital ecological collaborative development of real-world assets (RWA), and announces that the 'First RWA Global Summit' will be held in Hong Kong in 2026. The summit aims to attract over a thousand global representatives from government, industry, academia, research, and finance to release the annual RWA development report, select industry pioneers, and create the highest standard communication platform in the global RWA field.
At the press conference, the chief guest, the Deputy Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Chen Haolian, National People's Congress representative and Hong Kong Legislative Council member Chen Yong, National Committee member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Hong Kong Legislative Council member Wu Jiezhuang, and Hong Kong Legislative Council member Yan Gang attended or delivered speeches, fully affirming the strategic value of RWA in promoting the integration of fintech and the real economy and consolidating Hong Kong's status as an international financial center. Subsequently, in the presence of all guests, the 'RWA Ecological International Federation' was officially announced and the launch ceremony was grandly held.
