3800U flipped 20 times after liquidation: Won the market, lost the hearts

When he found me, the 3800U principal had already lost half, and the messages of consecutive liquidations were full of pleas: "Brother, I beg you to take me along, I’ll give you half of my earnings!"

Seeing his eagerness to recover losses, I eventually softened my heart: "I’ll help you, not for profit sharing, only asking you to stick to the rules." We agreed: to split positions into eight parts, with a single ticket not exceeding 12%, profits to be first withdrawn to a separate account for locking, and stop losses to never be delayed. $ETH

In the first 22 days, we steadily made progress: analyzing the market before trading, strictly adhering to profit-taking and stop-loss during trading, and reviewing overnight in case of a pullback. The account grew from 3800U all the way up to 76,000 U, nearly flipping 20 times.

But he became increasingly excited, always repeating: "Just one more push, and we can completely turn things around!" I repeatedly reminded him: "Holding onto profits is ten times harder than doubling them." He agreed verbally, but his actions gradually went off track.

On the 25th day, he went all-in on popular altcoins behind my back, even without setting stop losses.

By the time I discovered it, the account had already pulled back 51%. When questioned, he defended himself: "This opportunity is rare, if I miss it, it’s gone." I told him to stop loss immediately, but he stubbornly waited for a rebound.

On the 28th day, the coin price collapsed, and the 76,000 U ultimately was reduced to just 8000U. He instead blamed me: "Why didn’t you stop me!" I did not argue, silently terminated the assistance.

I originally reached out with good intentions but forgot: The most terrifying thing in the crypto world is not the loss, but losing respect after gaining profits. Many can flip from thousands of U to tens of thousands of U, but very few can maintain their profits without inflating.

Later, I saved the initial chat records to constantly remind myself: Kindness must be accompanied by rules; assistance cannot outweigh greed. The hardest part in the crypto world is not doubling, but remembering why we started after winning.

True turning around is never about the explosive rise of account numbers, but about maintaining one's original intention and the clarity of discipline.
