Citrini analyst Jukan said in a post on X that Lenovo has described rising memory prices as a “new normal,” adding that DRAM and NAND flash prices have entered a structural upcycle.
According to Odaily, Jukan said prices are unlikely to return to early 2025 levels even if major suppliers continue expanding production.
Jukan said higher costs are being passed through across the industry, and that various electronic devices, including PCs and smartphones, are expected to continue facing upward pricing pressure. He added that higher prices are expected to become a “new normal” after 2030.
