Clumsy ways to get meat—I've turned profits into salaries with "three don'ts + six tricks"

In the first two years after entering the market, I chased rockets every day, and my wallet was cleaner than my face.

Later, after some painful reflection, I simplified trading into "three don'ts + six tricks," hanging it as a talisman on my computer frame, which instead turned profits into a monthly salary.

Three iron rules:

① Don't chase when prices go up, only pick green plates, and write "when others are fearful, I am greedy" as a screensaver;

② Never hold on stubbornly, cut losses when the line breaks, time for fantasies = 0;

③ Never go all in, leave bullets for the next train, going all in = actively missing out.

Six short-term mantras:

1️⃣ After a high position consolidates, there’s often one more surge, after a low position consolidates, new lows often appear; wait for the direction to show before acting;

2️⃣ Consolidation = off switch, if your hands are itchy, do 20 push-ups;

3️⃣ Buy on dips and sell on rallies, the color of the K-line is an emotional thermometer;

4️⃣ The speed of decline determines the angle of rebound, a sharp drop = quick rebound, a slow decline = slow rebound;

5️⃣ Building a position is like stacking a pyramid, the bottom layer is small, the upper layer is even smaller, don’t insert it upside down;

6️⃣ Long consolidation must change, after a high consolidation, a downward drop = liquidate, after a low consolidation, an upward breakout = follow up.

Last year, LTC consolidated for two months, I slowly built my position at 62 during a bearish K, added to my position at 72 after the breakout, reduced by half at 80, and liquidated at 90, a set of combo moves netted me a 40% profit, and I even withdrew principal to buy a computer.

I've seen too many people take off by luck, only to crash due to greed.

The reason I’m still here today is simply because I’m tough enough on the market and even tougher on myself—writing the rules on my hand, locking emotions in a small black room, profits naturally clock in monthly.
