According to Techinasia, Standard Chartered Bank has collaborated with Ant International to launch a blockchain-based tokenized deposit solution, which has been deployed on Ant International's Whale platform, supporting near real-time transfers of Hong Kong dollars (HKD), offshore renminbi (CNH), and US dollars (USD). This solution is part of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) Project Ensemble related work, aimed at promoting the implementation of distributed ledger technology in local financial scenarios.
