Predict.fun is launching its new platform, which it defines as the first real-time 'bet-based' prediction market. Users can bet on which words Changpeng Zhao (CZ) will say during the BNB Chain AMA.
The market became active before the session planned for December 18 at 16:30 (UTC+4). The event can be followed through a platform that operates in conjunction with a live broadcast.
BNB Chain AMA During CZ Instant Tracking: Real-Time Prediction Market
In this new platform called 'CZ Mention Market', participants can bet on whether CZ will say specific keywords above predetermined thresholds during his AMA.
For example, bets can be opened based on criteria such as whether CZ will use the word 'BNB' more than five times or the word 'Builder' more than three times, or whether he will refer to other names and concepts.
According to on-chain data shared by crypto analyst AB Kuai Dong, the market began to form a strong common opinion very quickly.
Kuai Dong wrote: ‘I checked, and nearly 94% of people have already bet that CZ will say the word BNB more than five times. So traders’ expectations have already formed before the AMA even started,’ he said.
Kuai Dong stated that this narrative shows that prediction markets are beginning to be used in extraordinary areas as well. He likened the experience to community voting in live broadcasts but pointed out that the outcome is shaped not from a central platform but entirely through crypto-based prediction markets.
‘Now everything has become predictable: Everything from politics at the top to a single online live broadcast at the bottom is being forecasted,’ he stated.
Predict.fun defined the launch as a turning point for the industry, noting that they brought this concept to life for the first time in prediction market history.
The platform emphasized that users can follow the results in real-time through an integrated live broadcast screen. This stream will be presented continuously during the AMA.
The AMA session organized by BNB Chain itself stands out as an event where year-end evaluations and future plans will be discussed. In BNB Chain's statement, it was noted that the session provides a summary regarding 2025, and that developers (builders) will convey the future vision of the network and the overall ecosystem.
Prediction Markets Open to Real-Time Attention Trading
CZ took his first step into the prediction market space at the beginning of December, highlighting that user funds could generate returns until the results are awaited.
Just a day before this statement by CZ, Trust Wallet announced the Predictions feature, and the Web3 prediction market protocol Myriad also became the first integrated partner.
Therefore, the CZ Mention Market is an example of the new experiences rapidly expanding in prediction markets by 2025. The industry has gained momentum alongside the regulatory frameworks becoming clearer in many countries.
Platforms are no longer limited to topics such as elections and macroeconomic indicators; they also encompass cultural events, live broadcasts, and public statements.
Predict.fun has become increasingly followed due to the presence of significant names among its investors, such as YZI Labs (formerly known as Binance Labs). Although Predict.fun operates independently, this connection reflects the growing institutional interest in prediction market models.
Aside from Predict.fun, YZI Labs also supports the Opinion.Trade prediction platform, which quickly surpassed Kalshi and Polymarket, reaching a weekly volume of $1.5 billion.
This table shows that competition is intensifying and giants like Coinbase, Crypto.com, and Gemini have entered the industry.
These developments indicate that the word density of prediction markets in live broadcasts has even transformed into a tradable signal, growing towards much more instantaneous and detailed areas.
However, time will tell whether such formats represent a permanent expansion of the industry or merely a niche experiment.
As the BNB Chain AMA event approaches, CZ Mention Market stands out as a vivid example of how crypto-focused tools are increasingly intersecting with live media, public figures, and community-based events: Attention and interest are now turning into directly measurable and tradable outcomes.
